Analysis of the interactions between metaphit and these drugs suggests that metaphit may act as a less potent, long-acting agonist at PCP binding sites, rather than as an antagonist. Its ability to potentiate the effects of these drugs does not appear to be related to its effects on the metabolism of these drugs.
